What does "Sed Contra" mean?

It's Latin.
It means "On the contrary"

Catherine - I learned this word in my Nature and Person Philosophy class last year. St. Thomas Aquinas uses it a lot. My professor said it would make a great name for a ship. U.S.S Sed Contra. I happen to agree. If I ever get a ship I'm going to call it the Sed Contra. For now, since I don't have a ship, I'll stick with the blog.
